Misdiagnosis is common when cultural differences are overlooked, which can lead to inappropriate or ineffective treatment. We take great care to avoid that.

A diagnosis is never given lightly. For some, receiving a diagnosis feels validating; for others, it can be overwhelming. We understand both. Our approach is thoughtful, respectful, and paced according to your comfort and clarity.

Diagnosis is a process, not a single moment. If symptoms evolve or new information emerges, we will revisit and refine your diagnosis as needed. We do not believe in “throwing out diagnoses”—we take the time to understand what fits, what doesn’t, and what needs further evaluation.
